It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rudolph Hasso Ayala Jr. (Austin, Texas), who passed away on October 2, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Rey Ayala; his parents, Rudolph, Sr. Ayala and Belen Hasso Ayala; his siblings, Martin Ayala, Roland Ayala and Lucy Reyes; and his brother-in-law Tony Reyes.
He is survived by: his wife Susie Ayala; his daughters, Melissa Rivera (Michael) and Susan Partida (Atanacio); his grandchildren, Michael Rivera, Jr. (Maria Gomez), Sereena Rivera Ferren (Billy), Alyssa Segura (Henry McBride), Cynthia Seguar (Logan Howell) and Mateo Partida; his siblings, Richard Ayala (Helen), Gilbert Ayala (Ruby) and Gloria Hernandez (Rudy); and his sister-in-law Gloria Ayala. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Mission Funeral Home - South Side (6204 S 1st St, Austin, TX 78745). A rosary will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the San Francisco Javier Catholic Church (10068 Burklund Farms Rd, Austin, TX 78719). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cook-Walden Forest Oaks Cemetery (6300 W William Cannon Dr, Austin, TX 78749).
