It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Russell Louis Cook Jr. in Austin, Texas, who passed away on October 16, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Katherine Cook, and Russell L. Cook, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Cook; his daughter Courtney French; his son-in-law Mike French; his son Scott Cook; his daughter-in-law Lauren Cook; his grandchildren, Will French, Cate French and Lainey Cook; his sister Judy Adams; and his siblings-in-law, George Adams, Linda, Carell Freeman, Buddy Feeney and Patsy Brousseau. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Austin (1201 Lavaca St, Austin, TX 78701).
