She was predeceased by: her husband Frank J. Mathis; and her great grandchild Anna Kate McEwin. She is survived by: her children, Cindi Nicholas, Louis Nicholas of Avery, Dorese Basinger of Paris, Texas, John Law of Hampton, Arkansas and Richard. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
