With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alton Brown of Axtell, Texas, born in McDade, Texas, who passed away on August 30, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Martha Mattie Brown and Glockzin; his wife Patsy Yvonne Childress; his sons, Alton Douglas Brown (Christy) and Curtis Wayne Brown (Niiki Hicks); his grandchildren, Christopher Douglas Brown, Terri Rose Tweed (Brown), Travis Wayne Brown, Dustin Tanner Brown and Justin Taylor Brown; and his friend Doris Neatherlin Farrar. He was also cherished by three great grandchildren.
