It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie Cantrell of Axtell, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on July 27, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Patsy Cantrell; his mother Morene Harral; and his brothers, Norman Cantrell and Horace Bryan. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Baucom of Axtell, Paul Cantrell (Barbara) of Robinson and Lori Rebrovich (Steve) of Burleson; his grandchildren, Allison Figley (Chris), Andrew Cantrell (Shelby), Jack Rebrovich and Katie Lynch (Seamus); his great grandchildren, Rylie Figley, Lucas Figley, Taryn Cantrell, Freya Cantrell and Mickey Lynch; his sister Doris Fletcher; and his sister-in-law Doe Cantrell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lake Shore Funeral Home & Crematory (5201 Steinbeck Bend Dr, Waco, TX 76708). A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rosemound Cemetery (3201 S 12th St, Waco, TX 76706).
In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church.
