She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Richards and Georgie Madora Richards (Garner); her husband Johnny Gatlin; her daughter Gala Reed; her siblings, William, Albert, James, Charles, Joe Richards and Dorothy Watson; and her pet Sassy.
She is survived by: her children, Dwayne Reed (Marcie) and Vala Allen (John Miller); her grandchildren, Chesney Willenborg, Devin Allen (Elizabeth), Miranda Carpenter (Casey), Lexi Gatlin (Colton Sandell), Tristan Gatlin and Kathryn Reed (Andrew Eberhardt); her great grandchildren, Kelon, Riley, Londyn, Oaklynn and Kinley; her sister-in-law Judy Walters; and her close friend Ana Esparza. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
