He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Debbs Elmore and Bobbie Lorene Elmore (Harding); his wife Annie Mae Elmore; his sister Bobbie Jo Elmore; and his grandchildren, Jaime Helen Lea Elmore, Krystal Padron and Frankie Douglas Warren, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Debra Warren, James Elmore, Jr. and Pamela Croft; and his brothers, Raymond Elmore and Gerald Elmore. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of relatives and friends.
