She was predeceased by : her parents, Isidro Garcia and Guadalupe "Lupita" Garcia. She is survived by : her husband Samuel Jackson Jr.; her caregiver Stolle Lloyd (Eric Lloyd); and her children, Porter, Heidi, Blaire, Pruitt Lloyd, Glenda Lisa Jackson and Michael Todd Jackson.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Laurel Oaks Memorial Chapel (12649 Lake June Rd, Balch Springs, TX 75180). A rosary was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church (1054 N St Augustine Rd, Dallas, TX 75217).
