He was predeceased by : his mother Rosa Govea; his daughter Li'Anne Rose Govea; and his sister Raquel Gracia. He is survived by : his siblings, Nellie Govea, Ignacio Alejandro Govea, Angel Govea, Alma Govea, Jose Gracia, Maria Gracia, Norma Gracia, Gustavo Gracia and Ignacio Gracia.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Laurel Oaks Funeral Home (12649 Lake June Rd, Balch Springs, TX 75180). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
