He was predeceased by : his parents, Maria Martinez Castillo and Manuel Castillo. He is survived by : his wife Maria Del Rosario Castillo; his children, Luis Castillo Jr. (Amanda), Joann Castillo and Eddie Castillo (Sara); his grandchildren, Esmeralda, Laura, Kothan, Alexis, Emily, Sara and Kyle; and his great grandchild Lorenzo.
