It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon G. Culwell (Bandera, Texas), born in Wink, Texas, who passed away on November 3, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Luke Culwell and Iva Culwell Windom; his siblings, John Culwell, Willie Jack Culwell and Quay Lawson; and his daughter Debra Moore.

He is survived by : his wife Nettie Jean Culwell of Bandera, Texas; his brother Billy Copland of San Antonio, Texas; and his children, Peggy Heathman Chittum (Charles R. Chittum) of San Angelo, Texas, Donny Culwell of Bandera and Randal Culwell of Stephenville. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the charity of choice.
