He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence Ford and Billie Ford (Strange); and his grandparents, Audie, Dacie Ford, Olin and Jewel Strange.

He is survived by : his wife Susan Nietfeldt; his daughter Melissa Ford; and his sister Gaynell Williams (Leland). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; several cousins; and many good friends.
