Aida Urias Casillas Obituary

She was predeceased by : her parents, Joaquin Urias and Manuela Urias; her brother Eulalio "Lalo" G. Urias; and her sisters-in-law, Vickie Urias and Lola Urias.

She is survived by : her siblings, Eva Gutierrez (Pole) and Florentino "Tino" Urias; her husband Robert S. Casillas; her children, Rob (Wendi Casillas), Liz (Will Franklin) and Carlos (Steven Casillas-Jones); and her grandchildren, Robin, Collin Jacobs, Ben, Kevin Casillas, Aidan and Joshua Franklin. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Aida's spirit of giving extends beyond her lifetime, as she donated her brain and spinal cord to the UT Health San Antonio Glenn Biggs Institute for Alzheimer's & Neurodegenerative Diseases for important medical research for the 50 million people similarly affected.
