He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred and Paula; his stepfather Emmett Hendrix; his brothers, Fred Jr. and Jim; and his daughter-in-law Stacie.
He is survived by: his wife Elberta Fohn of Bastrop; his children, Jeff (Christian) of Bastrop, Dianna (Bruce) of Bastrop, Tim (Sabrina) of Needville, Greg (Diana) of Georgetown and Chris (Wendy) of Norman; his grandchildren, Caitlyn (Andrew), Alyssa (Eric), Ashlyn (Taylor), Alec (Cheyenne), Tyler (Ashley), Kaedra, Loren (Ryan), Mason, Nathan, Nicholas and Macy; and his great grandchildren, Hayes, Graham, Sonny, Jovie, Wade, Rory, Cora and Knox. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
