He is survived by: his children, Howard Jerome Montgomery (Sherri) of Columbia, Jerry Montgomery Jr. (Alexandria) of Charlotte, Jerald Montgomery (Maretta) of Houston, Jerrolyn Montgomery-Smalls (Terex) of Blythewood, Monica Jones of Bastrop and Norman Jones (LaTanza) of Bastrop, Texas.; his siblings, Sandra Smith (Shaffer), Willie Ray Deary, Lillie Mae Deary, Frank Deary, Gilbert Deary and Janice Deary; and his aunts, Josephine McGregor of Smithville, Rosie Mae Montgomery of Lubbock and Daisy Perkins of Manor. He is also survived by grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends, and neighbors.
