He was predeceased by: his parents, Felipe Aguirre and Gertrudis Alvarado; and his siblings, Minerva Aguirre, Felipe Javier Aguirre (Maria) and Maria Minerva Aguirre.

He is survived by: his wife Elida R. Aguirre; his former wife Olivia Aguirre; his grandchildren, Moses Alexander Garcia and Madeleine Elizabeth Garcia; his siblings, Maria Isabel Guerrero (Eduardo) and Lauro Aguirre; and also, Griselda Aguirre-Garcia of San Antonio, TX and Adrian Aguirre of Uvalde, TX.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and godchildren.

Viewing was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rushing-Estes-Knowles Family Center (220 S Getty St, Uvalde, TX 78801). A rosary was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church. The military honors will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the Batesville Cemetery.
