He was predeceased by: his parents, Juanita Galvan, (Ortiz) and Tomas Galvan, Sr.; his sisters, Dolores Rodriguez and Rosa Sandoval; and his grandson Sheldon Chance Galvan (Mary Helen Bernal).
He is survived by: his wife Anita Louise Padilla; and his children, Deidra Galvan of San Antonio, Senida Lasater of Pueblo, Griselda Leota of Casa Grande, Theresa Houghland of Arizona, Dianna Turlea (Davie) of Arizona, Alma Lacayo of Arizona, Thomas Galvan (Mindy Hernandez) of Batesville, Tony Galvan of Batesville and Tomas Guedea (Grace) of Pearsall. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary (220 S Getty St, Uvalde, TX 78801). A graveside service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Galvan Cemetery (1255 Old Loma Vista Rd, Batesville, TX 78829).
