In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact James Ivy had on those he encountered along his journey. Though James Ivy may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leve Foreman and Lucille Hoffpauir Foreman; his wife Mary Foreman; and his siblings, Robert Lee May and Joyce Faye Speck.
He is survived by: his sister Wanda Wilson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, along with extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Faith & Family Funeral Services (40847 TX-105, Batson, TX 77519). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rosedale Cemetery (505 Old Beaumont Rd, Sour Lake, TX 77659).
