She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Perry and Irene Emma McAlister; her husband Donald Ray Owen; her brother Bobby McAlister; her grandson Donald Blake Walden; and her nephew Robert Ward McAlister.
She is survived by: her daughter Belitha Baringer; her son-in-law Raymond Baringer; her granddaughter Alexis Baringer; and her uncle Donnie Helms.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Taylor Bros. Funeral Home (2313 Avenue I, Bay City, TX 77404). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at 2620 W Avenue G, Temple, TX 76504.
