With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack Allen Ellis of Bay City, Texas, who passed away on July 15, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest A. Ellis and Mamie Henderson Ellis; his son Daniel Ellis; and his sisters, Mary Medlin, Betty Yarborough and Lanora Janak.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis Ellis (Mikki), Johnny Wells (Wendy) and Amanda Briden (Ken); his friend Tonya Ellis; his sisters, Ida Curnutte and Kathy Anderle; his grandsons, Daniel Ellis and Matthew Ellis; his great grandchild Nolan Ellis; and his pet ChiChi "Hoogie".
Visitation was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Taylor Bros. Funeral Home (2313 Avenue I, Bay City, TX 77404). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
