He is survived by: his parents, Micheal Buckalew and Carla Buckalew; his sister Jenna Buckalew (Ryan Whitlow); and his sibling's children, Amelia Whitlow and Charles Whitlow. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Navarre Funeral Home (2444 Rollingbrook Dr, Baytown, TX 77521).
