It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Loyce Cashat in Baytown, Texas, born in Jennings, Louisiana, who passed away on January 31, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Raymond Istre and Alma Arceneaux Istre; her husband Leroy Joseph Cashat; her son Gene Cashat; and her siblings, Chester Istre, Morris Istre and Beatrice Istre.

She is survived by : her sons, Boyce Lee Cashat (Sharon Elizabeth) and Richard John Cashat (Diane); her daughter-in-law Melanie Cashat; her sisters, Juanita Wooten and Eunice Slaughter; and her sister-in-law Dot Istre. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.

Loyce was dedicated to giving back, exemplified by her monthly contributions to St. Jude's Hospital.
