He was predeceased by: his parents, Regino Lopez Sr. and Lydia Lopez; his son-in-law Gary Lamb; and his wife Mary Alice. He is survived by: his children, Cindy Lamb, Gilbert Lopez (Recona) and Elena Turner (Eric); his siblings, Olga Bravo and Henry Lopez (Connie); his grandchildren, Matthew, Jessica, Sean Lamb (Rachel Lamb), Morgan Lopez-Guerrero (Arturo Guerrero), Evan Lopez, Kaitlen, Erica, Kiley, Elyssa and Eric Turner, Jr.; his great grandchildren, Levi, Maeve Guerrero and Parker Lamb; and his siblings-in-law, Rodger, Velia Medina, Sandra, Luciano Salinas, Michael Medina and Robert Medina.
