He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Andrew Sams and Maggie Mae Sams (Clark); and his wife Wanda Sams. He is survived by: his daughters, Kelly and Joyce Gomez (Jonathon); his granddaughter Kelly Todd (Philip); his stepchildren, Hubie Sams and Louise Raines; and his brothers, Fred Sams (Christine) and Herman Sams. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
