It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Goldie Kirkland Rideau of Beaumont, Texas, who passed away on May 11, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Aline Celestine Sylvester McDowell; and her brother Wilson Johnson (Wilson Larkins Jr.). She is survived by: her son Michael K. Redeau of Florida; her sibling's children, Valerie F. Thomas and Gregory Johnson; her great-nephew Kristopher Johnson Sr.; her great-niece Nancy Smith; and her friend Geneva Maneaux. She is also survived by great-great nephews, and (1) great-great niece.
