It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Jarratt Love of Beaumont, Texas, who passed away on April 20, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, we take solace in the memories we hold dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Jim Jarratt may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by : his parents, James Love and Margaret Love; and his stepfather John Anderson. He is survived by : his wife Judy Love; his half-sister Elizabeth Love; his sons, Harland Love (DeAnna) and John Love (Holly); and his stepsons, Robert Burnham, Thomas Burnham (Andree) and James Burnham. He is also survived by four grandsons, two granddaughters, and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calder Baptist Church (1005 N 11th St, Beaumont, TX 77702). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
