It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Carlton Touchet of Beaumont, Texas, born in Abbeville, Louisiana, who passed away on May 4, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary May Champagne and Joseph Dassas "J. D." Touchet; and his brother J. Earl Touchet. He is survived by: his wife Ann Bishop Smith Touchet; his children, Ed Touchet (Caroline), Clara Touchet, John Touchet and Edie Touchet Cherubino; his stepchildren, Mindy Greenspan (Kim), Sue Ellen Lassiter and Lee Smith; his grandchild Stephanie-Anne Touchet; his stepchildren, Carly Cherubino and Paul Cherubino II; his stepgranddaughter Melissa Smith; his great grandchild Isabelle M. Touchet-Deleon; and his brothers, Gene Ray Touchet and Robert W. Touchet (Vicki). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
