He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Verletta Frank Promise; his children, Loren Polite, Brandon Promise, Desmond Polite (NaTerri), Joseph Polite and Chandra Petry (Norman); his brother Herbert Alexander, Jr. (Sandra); and his stepdaughters, Quentella Robinson (Russell), Keisha Frank, Dianna Snowden (Willie) and Dorenia Simon (Moses). He was also cherished by 23 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
