He is survived by: his wife Patricia Smith Puente; his children, Richard Puente Jr. (Susan) of Beaumont and Sherry Puente (Michelle Wiggins); his brother Roberto Puente; his grandchildren, Johnny Segada Jr., Haylee, Chelsey Puente, Allison Stephenson (Christian), Whitney Dronnet (Manuel Savala), Nicholas Dronnet and Olivia Cupp; and his great grandchildren, Anthony, Mackenzie, Bryan, Chloe, Shiloh, Lily, Cyrus and Emmett. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
