He is survived by: his wife Judith Barkley; his stepdaughter Kathy Weir (George); his grandson George Weir Jr.; his stepson Chris Deever (Vanessa); his grandchildren, Holly, Kate Banks and Bryn Banks; his sister Carla Sterling (Rod); and his sibling's children, Cale Barber (Kristi), Ryan Barber (Rachael), Taya Barber-Thurman, Bryan, Andrew Olsson and Katie Johnson.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity United Methodist Church (3430 Harrison Ave, Beaumont, TX 77706).
