She was predeceased by : her mother Camella Philen (Randazzo); and her husband John "Kirt" Reese. She is survived by : her father Billy R. Philen; her siblings, Frank "Todd" Philen, Terry Philen Mayer and Troy Philen (Michell); her brother-in-law Keith Reese (Stacy); and her mother-in-law Faye Reese. She is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews and 7 great nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Melancon Levingston Funeral Home (1605 Avenue H, Nederland, TX 77627). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
