With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Svoboda of Bedford, Texas, born in Chicago, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 25, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Svoboda and Joanna Svoboda (Petruska); his stepfather Robert Lloyd; his former wife Chris Svoboda; and his brother-in-law Jake Jacobsen.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Svoboda (Hembey); his sister Carol Jacobsen; his children, Jenifer Curlis (Jared), David Svoboda (Sarah), Lisa Barnes and Lana Hahn (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Chelsea Brashear, Jacob Barnes, Cody Hahn, Katelynn Allen, Cooper Svoboda and Hudson Svoboda. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of friends.
