He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy Michaels and Beuna Michaels; and his siblings, Roy (Sonny), Bobby and Marilyn.
He is survived by : his children, Richard Michaels (Tanna), Terri Hooper and Sharon Edwards (Derry); and his grandchildren, Laura, Stacy, Trey, Chelsea and Collin. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in James's name to the Presbyterian Children's Home in Itaska, TX. or any children's home of your choice as he had a huge heart for helping children in need.
