She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Zavala and Maximina Zavala (Baldillez); her husband Ben Cumpian; her siblings, Andres Valencia, Sotero Zavala and Porfiria Martinez; her grandson Nathan James Martinez; and her sons-in-law, Chris Rodriguez and Eric Garcia.
She is survived by: her children, Jesse Martinez, Jr. (Clara), John Henry Martinez (Gina), Jason Martinez, James Martinez (Dorothy), Anna Marie Rodriguez, Janie Elizabeth Martinez and Sierra Garcia. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and other family members.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Angelus Funeral Home (1100 E Houston St, Beeville, TX 78102). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Glenwood Cemetery.
