He was predeceased by: his parents, Porferio Medellin Sr. and Adela Medellin (Cavanas); and his brother Alexander Medellin. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Medellin; his children, Michelle Cardenas (Jose), Stacy Banda (Justin), Samantha Galindo (Daniel), Stephanie Moya, Sandra Gomez, Rosie Medellin, David Medellin, Samuel Moya Jr., Martin Medellin and Porferio Medellin III; and his siblings, Sylvia Martinez Jr. (Ismael), Ana Mejia (Daniel), Anastion Medellin (Diana), Faustino Medellin (Julie) and Israel Medellin. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
