She is survived by: her children, Humberto Cavazos Sr. (Sandra) of Ben Bolt, Texas, Demetrio Omar Cavazos (Nancy) of Corpus Christi, Texas and Cynthia; her siblings, Ruben Sancez (Karol) of Corpus Christi, Texas, Onofre Sanchez (Juanita) of Robstown, Texas, Juventino Sanchez Jr. (Carolina) of Pearland, Texas, Rene Sanchez of Realitos, Texas and Diana S.; her brother-in-law German Baez; her grandchildren, Lauro A. Gutierrez, Lauren A. Morales (Sergio), Adrian A. Cavazos, Humberto Cavazos Jr. (Lina Vela), Jose Alejandro Cavazos (Katherine) and John David Cavazos (Nathan) of Mackenzie, E. H.; and her great grandchildren, Gabriel Nicolo Cavazos, Guinevere Mercedes Cavazos, Alizay Joyce Cavazos, Jace Ryan Cavazos, Jewel Eliana Cavazos, Jean Lee Ryker Brown, Christopher Demetri Anthony Brown, Solara Anise Morales and Arabella Rose Morales. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church (401 S Victoria St, San Diego, TX 78384).
