He was predeceased by: his parents, Humberto Hinojosa Sr. (Delia Hinojosa) and Eusebio (Maria Garcia); his grandparents, Abel and Emma Hinojosa; his sister Maria Elisa Garcia; and his niece Anyssa Hinojosa.
He is survived by: his wife Marisa Hinojosa of Benavides, Texas; his children, Humberto Hinojosa III of Benavides, Texas, Anastacia Saenz of Benavides, Texas, Tricia Hinojosa (Kelly Dimas) of Benavides, Texas and Victoria Hinojosa of Benavides, Texas; his brothers, Oscar Hinojosa (Beckie), Javier Hinojosa and Carlos "Cavo" Hinojosa; his brother-in-law Pete Garcia; his grandchildren, Ruben Valdez, Bladen, Zaiden and Kaleb Dimas; and his cousins, Manfred, Carmen and Bella. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM at the Garza Funeral Home (4571 S Farm to Market 1329, San Diego, TX 78384). A rosary was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
