She was predeceased by: her father Felix Alvarez; her son Conrad Alvarez; and her sister Rosemary Duran. She is survived by: her husband Pedro Garcia of Big Spring; her children, Christina Starr (Stefan Martinez) of Abilene, Timothy Alcala (Amaris Diaz) of Big Spring, Daniel Alvarez of Big Spring and Nicole Alvarado (Felix) of Big Spring; her sisters, Brenda Alcala of Big Spring and Irma Garcia of Abilene; her grandchildren, Isaac Starr (Madison), Eddie Starr, Kallie Starr, Urijah Jasso, Ariella Alcala, Lilliana Alcala, Timothy Alcala, Alyssa Alvarez and Celeste Alvarez; and her great grandchild Kyngston Starr.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Myers & Smith Funeral Home & Chapel (301 E 24th St, Big Spring, TX 79720). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
