Jimmie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Wood and Odessa Wood; his brother Michael Wood; and his wife Nancy Wood. He is survived by: his daughters, Shelley Choate (Mark) of Big Spring and Stacey Palmer (Clarence) of Big Spring; his sister Judy Young of Big Spring; and his grandchildren, Jason, Brett, Kristin, Erin, Caleb, Brionna, Faith, Kylie and Aubrey. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Myers & Smith Funeral Home & Chapel (301 E 24th St, Big Spring, TX 79720).
