It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Annette Adkins Mohn Howard (Big Spring, Texas), born in Onawa, Iowa, who passed away on February 24, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her children, Barbara Jean Mohn Lewis, Charles David Mohn and Lawrence DeWayne Mohn; her parents, Paul Adkins and Isabel Adkins; her sister Dana Conrad; her stepdaughter Darla Howard; and her granddaughters, Shawn Florey and Cheryl Hurd.

She is survived by : her children, Laura Hughes (Mike), Twila Mayes and Dennis Mohn; her grandchildren, Tania Clucas, David Mohn, Diane Simonds, Wendy, Amy, Amber Mayes, Krystal Hughes-Edmiston (Coby) and Aaron Hughes (René); her great grandchildren, Kaylee, Colton Edmiston, Justin, Jason Mohn and Damian Simonds; her siblings, Jerry Adkins, Pauline Benson and Linda Craft; and her stepchildren, Jimmy Howard (Sandy), Diane Price and Rhonda Zeigler (George). She is also survived by children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
