It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frankie Helena Russell of Bishop, Texas, who passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Frankie Helena Russell to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Norcross and Helena Norcross; and her sisters, Barbara Florey, LaVerne Taylor and Shirley Eason.
She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Y. Russell; her children, Shelley Russell Stogsdill (Robert) of San Antonio, Todd Russell (Marcie) of Lewisville and Sean Russell (Lucy) of Duncanville; her grandchildren, Russell Stogsdill (Chelsea), Oliver-Pierce Stogsdill (Samantha), Hillary Stogsdill Velasquez (Gabriel), Hannah Stogsdill, Ryan Russell, Katie Russell Morris (Brian), Lucy Russell Merry (Ana), Sydney Russell Arellano (David), Logan Russell (Mackenzie), Weston Russell and Tristan Russell; and her great grandchildren, Blake Stogsdill, Charles Stogsdill, Quinn Stogsdill, Caldwell Stogsdill, Juno Merry, Lucy Merry and Wren Merry. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Scott's Funeral Home (2425 E Main St, Gatesville, TX 76528). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Ater Cemetery.
