He is survived by: his wife Gloria Alvarez; his children, Selinda Rojas (Art), Robert Alvarez (Claudia), Diego Alvarez (Debra), Erika Villarreal (Lupe) and Yvette Garza (Rolando); and his sisters, Linda Soliz and JoAnn Samora. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
