It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jackie Phillips Owen of Blooming Grove, Texas, born in Corsicana, Texas, who passed away on July 11, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Phillips and Evelyn Phillips; her husband Dwayne Owen; her siblings, John Phillips and Donna Phillips; and her parents-in-law, Ray and Billie Ann Owen.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Chris (Stacy Owen); her grandsons, Hunter (Pardner), Reagon Owen and Conner Owen (Littleman); her great grandchild Chaney Shae Owen (Puddin); her sisters, Sue Mershawn (Roy), Barbara Phillips and LeeAnn Herod (Jack); her sisters-in-law, Janet Allred (Mike), Daun Lambert (Jerry) and Debbie Armstrong (William); and her cousin Boot Braden. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, close friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Corley Funeral Home (418 N 13th St, Corsicana, TX 75110). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Corley Funeral Chapel (418 N 13th St, Corsicana, TX 75110). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Pattison Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a memorial donation be made to the Jackie Phillips Owen account at Prosperity Bank where all the proceeds will be given to the Baylor Scott & White Dallas Foundation with a special designation for Pickens 5th floor.
