He was predeceased by : his parents, William Adams and Iris Adams; his siblings, Buford Adams, Don Adams, Frankie Walsh and Myrna Hendrick; and his nephews, Randy Adams and Steven Adams.

He is survived by : his wife Mary Adams of Bluff Dale, Texas; his children, Pam Fry of Murphy and Greg Adams of Omaha, Nebraska; his grandchildren, Brendon Fry (Sarah) of Frisco and Jonathan Fry of Murphy, Texas; and his great grandchild Mia Fry of Frisco, Texas..
