He is survived by : his wife Kristi Smith Rabinowitz; his brother Michael Rabinowitz of McAllen, TX; his sons, Armand Rabinowitz (Emily) of Chicago, IL, Adam Rabinowitz (Holly) of San Antonio, TX, Joshua Rabinowitz and Luke Rabinowitz of Boerne, TX; his grandchildren, Owen, Joely, Noah and Nicholas; and his nieces and nephews, David Aaron Rabinowitz (Michelle) of Beverly, MA, Evan Jacob Rabinowitz of McAllen, TX, Sara Ashley St. Mary of Maple Shade, NJ and Jennifer St. Mary Warden (Eric) of Voorhees, NJ..

Betty White wrote a sympathy message

“I had the pleasure of knowing Dr. Rabinowitz for the past 40 years. I worked with him in the Cardiac Cath Lab for most of that time; He would always take the stress out of the procedure with his sarcasm and his humor. He was an amazing physician. I gained an abundance of knowledge from him. He took care of my mother when she had open-heart surgery at TexSan Hospital. She loved his smile and his sincerity. He will be greatly missed. His wonderful memories will live on forever. Betty White”
