He was predeceased by: his parents, John Verner Nipp, Sr. and Geraldine Noel Nipp; his wife Carol Nipp; his daughter Karen Ledel; and his siblings, Dolores Cochran (Toppy), Noel Evans and Gerald Nipp.
He is survived by: his children, Jane Nipp Goheen (Leo Goheen) of Colleyville and John Charles Nipp (Marie Nipp) of Boerne, Texas; his grandchildren, Theresa Ledel Garrison (JeA Garrison), Chris Ledel (Lyvinna), Jenny Ledel (Alex Organ), Diana Ledel Smith (Brandon Smith), Caitlin Keliher (Joseph Keliher), Robert Goheen (Mackenzie Goheen), Natalie Goheen Huszar (Ralph Huszar), Alyssa Nipp Grunden (Brandon Grunden), Barrett Nipp of Austin and Garrett Claunch (Kate) of Kentucky; and his great grandchildren, Casen Tracy, Ivy Smith, Everly Smith, Holland Goheen, Rory Huszar, Ethan Grunden, Blake Grunden, Brantley Claunch and Kensley Claunch. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (3713 Harwood Rd, Bedford, TX 76021).
