He was predeceased by: his parents, Asa Gallup and Mary Gallup; his wife Elaine Pearson; and his sister Mary Lou Morris. He is survived by: his children, Lloyd Gordon Gallup, Sr. of Boerne, Karen Harris (Doctor Steven Harris) of Flint, Paula Clark (Richard) of Tyler and Marian Potter (Randal Potter) of Hawaii; and his brother William Gallup of California. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.

Instead of floral remembrances, the family suggests that donations can be made to Hill Country Daily Bread Ministry of Boerne to honor Lloyd's memory.
