It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Cheves (Boerne, Texas), born in Graham, Texas, who passed away on July 30, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Isaac Chandler and Loretta Isabell Carr Chandler; and her former husband Clyde Wendell Cheves Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Kim (Collis), Todd (Laurie) and Kyle (Michelle); her grandchildren, Justin (Abby), Lauren (Nik), Cody (Megan), Brandon (Kallie), Emily, Dayland (Amanda) and Hannah (Paul); her great grandchildren, Ava, Huston, Adalyn, Harper, Knox, Aubrey, Orion, Rory, Cyrus, Townes, Chloe, Carrie and Wyatt; her siblings, Joe and Maretta; and her husband C's.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the First Baptist Church - Boerne (631 S School St, Boerne, TX 78006). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chambers Chapel at Mission Burial Park North (20900 I-10, San Antonio, TX 78257).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kronkosky Center or First Baptist Church of Boerne.
