He was predeceased by: his parents, David Lee Townes, Sr. and Nita Joyce Cawley; his sister Tesa Rosson; and his brother-in-law Michael Ray Wilson. He is survived by: his daughters, Madeline Michelle Frost (Mark) of Corpus Christi and Chelsey Hawthorne; his stepfather Jimmy Lee Redding of Bogata; his sister Janice Wilson of Winnsboro; his grandchildren, Max Frost and Marlow Frost; his sibling's children, David Rosson, Candice Rosson, Christy McDonald, William McDonald and Christopher Rosson; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Daniel Rosson, Preston Poarch, Kooper Little, Koren Little, Paisley Minor and Waylon Rosson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Clarksville Funeral Home (100 W College Ave, Clarksville, TX 75426). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
