With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Cecil Wayne Bethel of Bonham, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Bethel and Lois Bethel. He is survived by: his wife Martha Bethel (McCraw); his son Chad Clark; his daughter-in-law Judy; his son Jason Bethel; his daughter-in-law Robin; his grandsons, Blaine Bethel, Carson Clark (Jenna Clark), Tate Bethel and Colin Clark; his great grandchild Harper Clark; his siblings, Jimmy Bethel and Elaine Savage; and his close friends, Mike Bethel and Justin Bethel. He is also survived by several nieces and one nephew.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home (2022 N Center St, Bonham, TX 75418). A procession will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Cemetery Will Leave. A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Willow Wild Cemetery (1220 W 7th St, Bonham, TX 75418).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Bonham.
